The iCare Food Bank of Rep. Babajimi Benson, representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has said that it has been working hand – in – hand with vulnerable residents in the last 9 years to ensure that people are given hope for a better tomorrow and also to bring about hunger – free communities and society.
iCare Foundation, which is administering the Food Bank, informed in a statement commemorating the 2025 World Food Day today.
The group in the last 9 years has fed roughly 216, 000 individuals and 54, 000 households, to underscore its commitment to supporting people in terms of food.

“Hand in hand, we’ve spent 9 years feeding with dignity – not just sharing food, but renewing hope for a better, hunger-free future.
“On this World Food Day, we reaffirm our commitment to a world where compassion nourishes as deeply as food itself,” the statement noted.
The iCare initiative has been focusing on vulnerable families, the elderly, widows, the physically challenged and youths across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
